En año nuevo, The Strokes ofrecieron un concierto en el Barclays Center de Brooklyn y en donde aprovecharon para revelar que se encuentran trabajando en un nuevo disco que saldrá este año, además de revelar la canción Ode To The Mets que pueden escuchar en la parte de abajo.
Cabe recordar que el último disco de la banda fue Angels en 2016, aunque no tocan nada de ese material y Casablancas se dice muy arrepentido por lo que decide contar a partir del Comedown Machine del 2013.
